So the Yankees game was on ESPN today, and there were a couple of things that struck me. The first thing is that everyone across the board looked like they were thinner, and in better shape. I think even Melky lost some pudge.
After that, was Giambi. He made some pretty good plays today, and it seems as if he will be starting first base for the Yankees, leaving DH open to Matsui and a solid bench with Betemit and Duncan. Seems like a pretty good roster to me. I'm really excited about this season, as long as the pitching staff holds.
